Ensolite
Ensolite is an energy absorbing foam originally developed by NASA to protect pressure vessels from damage. It has virtually 100% memory and is waterproof.

Advanced Carbon Composites has taken their carb31 fiber helmet to the next level of safety. For added protection and comfort, the Polo style, Extended 1/2 Shell, and Head Trip Helmets now come with the new "Ensolite" energy absorbing foam liner.

This foam is much more impact resistant compared to the common foam liners used in most helmets.If necessary, the removable cushioned sizing pads can be cut for a custom fit or removed altogether.

By request from our Team, all Kayak helmets come with  mini-cell peel-n-stick foam sizing pads for outfitting purposes.  These pads can be cut or shaved to suite your needs.  It is recommended that they be placed against the shell, behind the liner, for a smoother feel and a better fit; however, if that provides too much padding, they can be placed directly on the liner.  Each packet comes with a sticker, 4-1/8" pads, and  4- 1/4" pads.  Easy, comfortable, state of the art.
